Anyone betting? Any tips? Anyone going? Weather is turning.

Rhododendron 4/5 in the Oaks or Enable 7/1 each way? Or both?

Rhodedendron today is a not very original tip but it looks like a good thing. Horseplay a possible each way chance.

Tomorrow's Derby is pretty open. If we appoint a manager beforehand then Crowned Eagle is a shoe in. Wings of Eagles ew as a Palace bet as well.

I saw Dubai Thunder win by 10 lengths at Newbury a couple of weeks ago - could be a good each way bet.

Aiden O'Brien usually has one of his bigger price ones run well. Venice Beach will be one I'll do, especially as Bet365 are going each way 4 places.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Not going this year. Went last year. I was brought up in the area and literally 5 minutes from Epsom racecourse so Derby weekend is a big event for us locals. Lots of people have BBQs, parties etc so it's basically a weekend on the piss.

Ironically the local crime rate goes up in Derby week especially for thefts and burglary. I couldn't possibly comment on whether the arrival of our friends from the travelling community has anything to do with it.... Coincidence maybe??

As for tips I was given one from a mate for the first race on Oaks day at 2pm. Horse called Campion. As with all tips though it's no sure thing!!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Are you going to put that on the Gareth Thomas thread?

Yes I wasn't sure and have gone for Cliffs of Moher each way but not all in yet and it was generous odds and room to lay if I change my mind.
