I appreciate the positivity here mate, but Hull were already a sinking ship when Silva took over - quite frankly it would've taken a miracle to keep them up. He may not be a perfect manager, but he definitely knows what he's doing, and in my opinion was one of the best managers we could realistically have gotten. Certainly better than the likes of Monk and Wagner.

Silva is going to be a name you're going to hear for years to come so laughing that you dodged him is frankly idiotic.

We need a strong PROVEN manager , someone who has won the league not been relegated from it. So who do you want? Ranieri? Or do you think we can attract Conte from Chelsea?

Silva would've been brilliant for us. Shame we missed out on him.

Silva did an incredible job coming as close as he did to keeping Hull up. They were average to poor at home and terrible away. His home record, with one blip to Sunderland, was incredible. If you have a season ticket for next season and want value for money, you should have been begging us to take Silva! As far as wanting a premier league winner... That's a nice to have but it's a small list. Maybe Sir Alex owes you a favour?

I really don't get why he's said to have done such a great job at Hull.
