Thankfully Fat Sam has jogged on and as such he has no part in appointing our next manager. I don't believe for a minute SP et al are dumb enough to appoint a manager from League 1, regardless of what they may have achieved in the lower leagues.

Wilder had been brilliant wherever he's been. He's earnt his team 199 points over the past two seasons. Sheff Utd play some great stuff as well.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Zero experience at this level. Would probably have been great if we had been relegated.

Maybe Sam is just thinking ahead to next Christmas and a 2 million quid bonus. Where he gets a call from Parish when we are on the verge of relegation, with Wilder in charge.

I wouldn't say something like that, out the question though. With our constant need for firefighters to save seasons.

You are correct. He would still be better than any of Monk, Pardew, Hodgeson, Moyes or McClaren.
