Saw my first game in 1963 (Cliff Holton scored twice), can I not just have one season without all this f*ckng upheaval? Is that too much to ask?!

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

I was looking forward to a break from it, leaving it to Sam to decide whether to sign 3,4 or 5 players with the budget.

Now it's Sam taking the break and us stressing. He isn't the mug really.

I was at the Real Madrid game when we lost 4-3. Will never forget how fast Di Stefano was and the great Puskas, and our Johnny Byrne was something else. We were in the old 4th division then and only had the one stand in the ground.
But haven't we moved on since? I would never have dreamt that Palace would be where we are, in the top 20 teams in our land for 4 years.
Today's news on BFS leaving has left me shattered as I was looking forward to next season with confidence for the first time since the days of Wright & Bright, I have no idea how we will cope next season but all we can do is watch the names that are suggested on here, and in the press (there will be some daft ones as usual) and hope we get a good manager to keep us up again. Whoever it is we are in for another turbulent season.
I fully understand your frustrations but all in all, we have come a long way as a club since those days and hopefully will continue to do so, with the odd hiccup along the way of course.

I guess this is why us Crystal Palace supporters are so unique!

We have all been through so much together over the years, and have learnt we just do not do 'normal'!

Palace supporters are not unique. Unless you support the big five or six, this is happening all the time. But Palace do have one gem...The board. Let's hope they don't quit.

A Night to Remember? With the owners continually rearranging the deck chairs.
