Bullsh1t. He's got 2 more years. Do you think Parish would have a 'walk out' clause again? And where would he go? West Ham? No Newcastle? No. Everton, Southampton etc all no. Everybody else is no better or richer than us or are out of his reach in the top 5. The only team I think is possible would be Stoke. He fits us and we fit him right now. The mail sport have no news right now so stir something out of the regular post season transfer strategy meeting.

Or is it to ramp up pressure on the board to stick their hands in their pockets. Maybe he sees that a massive overhaul is needed and needs at least 60 to 70m .

Certainly looks like SA wants to know exactly where he stands, what's available to spend, when and on whom! Looks to me like SA wants to be fully immersed and involved in the transfer process. Is that SP's style? Who know's but there is no denying SA has a wealth of experience and is not short of contacts! Hopefully they can both be fully satisfied with the available warchest, agree on the strategy and identified targets both buying and selling. Lets hope we commence business early and have another stonking window like January!

I don't think he will go anywhere. Firstly because of The manner of the England sacking none of the top 6 clubs would touch him. We are in the next group so why move? Secondly He was backed in January so it is likely will be backed now. However SP may be reluctant to bring a striker like Defoe in at such high wages Thirdly He needs to restore his reputation and his best chance is with us

I think this is total bollocks. Then again, I thought the same when Pulis was rumoured to be quitting.
