We defo need at least one more striker to replace Remy, so Barnes looks a decent option, at a reasonable price. Not sure why Burnley would consider selling though

Watched him play against us a few weeks ago. Thought he was an absolute beast and won everything in the air. He also has very good close control and an eye for goal. This could be just pure paper talk...but a big Yes Please from me. Great signing!

Younger than Defoe I would take him for 9million would be good back up for benteke and 100 times better than camp ball and Wickham we leave as with 3 decent forwards

Could be a snap of the season purchase but this seems like Alice In Wonderland stuff. I'd fancy Burnley like Palace to bolster Premiership survival with Barnes staying put as one of their strongest players. More chance of Barton wanting to play for us...but is it worth the...ahem...gamble?

Six goals from 27 games? Is that the best we can expect?

Thought he was okay in the air but he had 2 finishes against us the other weekone that was chalked off for off side. They were both absolutely crap bobbling efforts that went in by fluke and hit about 5 different parts of his leg. A decidedly average player that had a decent game against us.

I don't claim to know a great deal about him but is he that much better than Wickham that we'd need another big striker? Surely someone in the Defoe or second striker mould is what we need now.

Is this sarcasm? Or Glenn Murray isn't a thing to you?

Gary ,Lineker made a career out of the ball hitting him and going in. I think Barnes is a nusance and plays full tilt every game and I admire his work ethic. I imagine he is a fan favourite for this reason but you'd have to ask a Burnley fan or a Man Utd fan who lives in Brighton.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.
