Osteopaths.Swear by them. They are regulated so you know its not someone with no training etc.

You can feel a bit worse for wear sometimes straight after or the next day (depending on the treatment) but that's just the effect of dealing with what's wrong. But stick with it,generally after a couple of days you feel much better

Look up one near you up here:

Neither. Just a prime example of why it's not advisable to try sucking it yourself

Osteopaths. My sister is one and I live with one, honestly they are so good. I did my ankle playing football a few times and it was finally sorted by my osteopath and is better than ever. Honestly if you can get to Sutton there is a really decent practice called Sutton Osteopathy which is where I go.

Sounds like muscle problems, you want a qualified Physio, they're the muscle experts (degree level)

I've seen a Chiropractor and a whole bunch of physio's (for back and problems with one of my legs)and thought they were good. Until I went to see a sports massage therapist. She does myofascial release. It hurts when she finds the trigger points but I notice the benefits straight away.

Also worth trying acupuncture if you have no luck with anything else. There is a decent and not too expensive one in Purley.

Be warned, it is never a problem that they can fix in one half hour session. Odds on that it will need at least 4-6, possibly more considering how many problems you have! I'm not suggesting that they string it out, just wanted to warn you and it's not cheap.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Tx all for your suggestions. And the only 'interesting' one from a lady ( I use the term loosely ).
I'm going to organise a visit recommended by a neighbour ( won't say chiro/osteo as don't want to hurt feelings ).
Whatever I'll get back running/golfing/sucking soon hopefully.
