I often wonder why I have supported Palace since 1959. This year has given me the answer. Have only seen Palace play once in the EPL as I live in OZ but finally managed a game away in Sunderland...0-2 down with 15 minutes to go and we win 3-2 at the death....5th in the league then. Beat Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool and look to be safe after doing the annual death dive through the league. Then up at 12.00 am on a Sunday night with my bum cheeks clamped together hoping we can at least get a draw with Hull. Couldn't sleep a wink afterwards. The reason I love Palace so much is only real supporters would stick through thick and thin every year with high blood pressure, copious amounts of alcohol and stress levels off the chart. I wonder what next year will bring???

Hi Dave, glad to see you got back to Oz Ok. That was a good chat and celebration we had in the Colliery Arms after the Sunderland game. Maybe we can meet up next time you're over for a game. That should be around the 2075/6 season. Dave

Am with you Dave. Following Palace from afar is not easy. In fact was a lot easier pre internet and fox sports when you only got scores on the ABC radio or on 1300 tolled phone services sometime during sunday. Since then because its available my subconscious wakes me within 10 minutes of kick off around 2am and since we have been scrounging for every point for 4 years my stress levels and old heart havent been the same. Have also only been to selhurst once and i didnt get to enjoy a palace goal in a 0-0 with Sheffield United. At least we can sleep in for 3 months. COYP.

Was hard work supporting the lads from Sydney when I was over there. Was always hammered by the time kick off rolled around in the pub.
"We love you Palace, we f@cking hate Man U, We love you Palace, we hate the brighton too, We love you Palace we play in red 'n' blue, so f@ck you, and you ... |

I'm a fan of the NY Rangers, so no wonder I chose Palace to support when I decided to choose a team to follow last year. They are very similar to follow: Nothing easy, frustrating, aggravating....and I'm always back to watch the following season.
