Anyone feel that he keep stating that 38 pts was enough and after we achieved this mark against Liverpool. There was a massive celebration in the changing rooms. Since that Liverpool game, we failed to score or achieve a single point. Have the players relaxed or have the injuries taken its toll.

What your feelings on this situation

injuries have been the main reason, plus if that linesman at the Burnley game had gone to specsavers when Wilf got taken out after 5 minutes!!!!, we would have been playing against 10 men and would have won comfortably and would be already safe

If he did a mistake it was not resting Mamadoe and possible others, and have the strongest possible team against Burnley.
That was a huge mistake.
But then again it is easy to say aftherwords isn`t it

Injuries to Tompkins, Sakho and Cabaye have killed us, but the Schlupp experiment was stupid. All managers make mistakes, dissing the players before our biggest game may of been foolhardy. Time will tell.

Bricking it.

Sahkos injury was from him making a silly messy tackle. Uo to rhen we'd gone toe to toe with spurs. Deserved a point

Maybe, but there were plenty on here absolutely adamant that 34/35 would be enough, which makes Sam look like a pragmatist by comparison.

I personally think pulis would of not let the players rest until 40pts were achieved

Quite possibly, but he'd still have had to cope with the injuries as well.

I agree.

Should have written Tottenham off and gone for Burnley

Was anyone saying that before the Tottenham match? As far as I am aware nobody thought that. The key to being wise is to be wise before the event, not after.
