I for one over the last few weeks have got myself in a right state over weather we stay up or not sleepless nights, High blood pressure anxiety you name it ive put myself through it. 44 years of watching palace has taken its toll. I come on here and the BBS a ridiculous amount of times looking for people being positive that we are going to be OK and then reading the negatives which makes me no better. The comfort i have is im not the only one who feels like this and that our beloved club means as much to me as the next person and if we did go down i wouldn't be the only person fed up beyond all belief. I then look at it as who really cares about us. The players and the club are not going to come round and make us feel better. What have us as fans got to gain being in the premiership. The only people who benefit are the owners and greedy players. The fans are forgotten about regardless of what happens. Players move on but we stay loyal and will always love our club regardless of what league we are in. What will be will be people we all share the love for palace and will get through it as a palace family.

Hopefully a refurbished stadium, seeing us play teams that are playing in the Champions League (rather than Burton Albion on a Tuesday night), signing players like Benteke and Cabaye, full rather than half-empty stadium. You'll be asking what the Romans did for us next Edited by bexleydave (09 May 2017 9.50am)
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

If we somehow stay up, then we'll look back and talk about this season for years to come.

Said to the kids way back in August v WBA that we'd come up together again for the Hull match as that would probably be a relegation decider. I was half/joking half/serious. But we will be there. We won't lose.

You make it sound as though prima donna players and greedy club owners don't exist in other leagues. I would much rather be supporting a Crystal Palace club struggling to survive in the most competitive league and watching lazy fat wallet players than supporting a Crystal Palace club struggling to survive in the Championship with an arrogant expectation that we should be achieving more and watching lazy fat wallet players.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

(The flack would've been deserved. 1-3 points chucked away by Parish stalling on transfers and Pardew acquiescing because employment comes before home truths)

Not ideal being relegated but we'll get through it ... we always do. We re-group, aim to bounce straight back, enjoy the away days in the Championship (plenty of good ones especially if Millwall come up) ... and just enjoy the ride! It's football at the end of the day, not life ...

Absolutey true, there's nothing i can do to change the result except sing my heart out on Sunday.

Im sorry if this makes those of a nervous disposition even more edgy, but this strange sequence of events keeps haunting me. I cannot shake it and I dont like it at all. Some people will say this is stupid, but look at the facts. Maybe in 1933 and 1957 Palace were too lowly for the Rooster to bother with us.

Poor preparation that we didn't realise at the time would be a problem for the final few minutes of plenty of 1st halves and last 15 mins of 2nd halves. Similar with West Ham. 2 week international break and unprepared again. Couldn't beat 10 men again and outwitted vs 3 at the back again.
