...have never won a premier league game in the month of May

They play us next.

We all know what happens now.

both Hull and Us have lost to Sunderland. At least one of the two teams is really 'not fit to wear the shirt'.

if we lose to the the team that lost to Sunderland then we really are gash and deserve visits to huddersfield next season.

ps.

the bookies now have Hull favourites for the drop, followed by Swansea and us as the outsiders.

The game against Hull is every bit as big as our Wembley game versus Watford where Phillips scored that penalty. Get in there......

I think that is both harsh and unrealistic. Losing our 3 first choice centre backs has impacted the team greatly. We are obviously a successful counter attacking side but tend to come unstuck when we need to go on the front foot against similar teams. Sam has not yet had the time, or players available, to construct his Plan B for those occasions. The players are not machines. They feel the pressure and get nervous. Next week though a point will be no good to Hull so I guess we will try to invite them on to us, whilst they will sit back and hope to catch a break. A nice dull 0-0 will do me fine.

With that defence? I admire your optimism

I am not sure just needing a draw is a good thing or not. Sometimes just one option i.e. having to win, can make you more focused. You know exactly what you have got to do. I just hope Palace go out with the single minded aim of beating Hull with no thoughts of a point being enough.

We have got to play a very pacey Hull team with Ward Kelly and Damo in our back four. Hull have to beat us so they will be all out and its possible they will do it. Our saviour could be a rejuvenated Sunderland who could turn Swansea over in their last home Prem game

I think you will find BFS has never had a plan b in his entire carear When we beat Liverpool and Arsenal he stated he knew the weaknesses in both those teams and he was blowing his own trumpet on how he was able to set up the players to beat them. After our defeat to Burnley all he said was they defended well. . What he really meant was that he has no idea how to break down a team who defends and plays counter attacking football like us. Today he played a defence that if we had got something after the game he would have said that he played thatvwayvbecause he knew their weaknesses. Instead he said we lost because the players were poor and presented them the goals. Why could he just not say my plan did not work ? It is easier to blame others rather than himself.
I guess all managers are like this nothing is ever as a result of what they have done. I just wish they could be honest. Anyway when we win next week against hull it will be interesting to hear what the reason was for the win. I bet it will be all down to him.

someone posted 0-0 good result. It will keep us up, but not sure I can stomach the last 20 minutes with our reserve defence in action. But yes 0-0 will do it.

I tend to agree and despair but we cope the best we can with the players we have and the manager we have - who has contrived to give us memorable victories as well as defeats.
I watched TV last night and saw Pardew the expert panellist and thought how did you get it so wrong and why couldn't/wouldn't you change things?
My rant over too

Absolutely not but BFS has always been a one trick pony . His reputation as a relegation specialist proves that.
