What the hell was Sam thinking off??!! Surely one of the worst decisions of his managerial career

Should have put PVA at centre back

That in addition to playing one recognised CB. Surely we couldn't have done any worse playing a youth teamer at CB? Easy to say in hindsight perhaps....

Well we three centre backs out injured there was not a lot of options! Im guessing Delaney did not start as the felt he would not cope with the pace and movement of the city front line. Not that it worked out that well anyway.

If he'd started Delaney and had him injured we would've had potentially no centre-backs available next week.

So who do we play in central defence for the crunch match v Hull? Any chance of Dann being back?

The right place at the right time

Sam has realised that Delaney is done....he shouldn't be playing at all.

Stupid decision IMO, but we unfortunately met a City team on absolute fire. Need Cabaye next week and one cb's back.

Cabaye and one of the 3 centre backs returning will hopefully make us look more solid. .

I mentioned this in the match thread. Might of been a baptism of fire but also if he hadn't played may of not had the supposed nervousness. Just got in there and got on with his job. Certainly would of been trained to head out a cross for a corner early on.

Has to be why. Fair enough. All our remaining energy needs to go into Hull. If we don't turn up again (Burnley) then we are in serious trouble. 1pt should do it

I don't think it mattered who played at CB today. Basically Palace were dismantled by a far superior opposition who had to win to to finish in the top 4 or better.

No Palace player can be singled out as playing well just basically outclassed.

Better to have everyone who's left fit for next week that's where the battle will take place if it goes that far!

Then with Cabaye available as well we will look much more organised and effective.
Who knows Dann may even make the bench!
