one cannot fail to notice :
a) Zaha is brilliant
b) Defenders are constantly trying to crucify the man, and failing to attempt to get the ball from him.
c) Referees are not giving Zaha any protection

Its as serious as this, our Prem survival could hang upon fair or unfair refereeing with Wilfried.

I genuinely think it was personal for some reason with the linesman in front of the Main Stand yesterday, and Wilf. I've no idea why, but it was just bizarre how he got no protection whatsoever from the bloke with the flag who utterly refused to see anything or help the referee - who, himself, is Clattenburg's stand-in - for the whole of the second half.

There must be something in a lineo's DNA that makes them perform worse and more bloody-mindedly the more they get things wrong. Some of them actually seem to relish the abuse they get.

Traffic wardens with flags.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Referee is a joke, he has to be stood down until next season as his constant big, big errors have totally undermined his confidence and his team of incompetents. Zaha is basically a Piņata week in week out and no ref seems to want to believe any contact is a foul on him.

Putting the away fans behind that lino is and always has been a mistake. Acoustically the Whitehorse is the worst stand, they should be in there.
Amazingly the prick got the identical Andre Gray decision right at the end. Sorry, but I really do believe betting syndicates have got hold of some officials.

Wilf has been improving his temper but I really can't blame him for boiling over yesterday. Opposition teams plan to foul him and wind him up and officials do nothing to stop it.

the so called experts on motd saying that foul on wilf was not a penalty ,if it had been on a burnly player they would say it was and should have been a penalty ,the ref was a joke div 2 level

Did they honestly say that? It's as clear a penalty as you're likely to see, he cleaned Wilf out. Seriously these pundits are not worth a w***.

Zaha's behaviour encourages officials to ignore him. He needs to stop being so animatedly childish. He plays the victim too much and the refs are sick of him. He goes to ground too easy and it becomes the 'boy who cried wolf' syndrome - he gets ignored when he actually does get genuinely fouled. This is an aspect of his game he needs to fix.

I never thought it was a penalty either.Zaha turned and his movement before he hit the floor was somewhat theatrical.

I agree with the general thrust of this post relating to his going to ground.

At the time I thought he'd fallen over the ball.
