Well we were fine against Liverpool when we knew we couldn't play him and had Tomkins available. Today we had our plan screwed up in mid-match. It was the same when Cabaye went off against Southampton. Injury table seems to suggest Dann should be available again the week after next and we should be able to do Burnely with a lineup of Ward, Kelly, Delaney and van Aanholt.

Genuinely think psychologically Palace looked upset at sakos injury and it affected them for the rest of the match. Sako has clearly been taken to the hearts of both players and fans alike. Whenever you see a mate and work colleague collapse with a bad injury and he stretchered off it is no surprise it affected the players. The fact that Kane was backing in to Sako immediately before the injury didn't help. Jon moss was atrocious tonight. Why wilf was booked at the end is beyond me. Miss is evidently not good enough to be refereeing at this level based on tonight's performance

Unfortunately, what the asked him for did not include fair play, correct application of the Laws, or player safety.

How did he (Sakho) hurt himself? I got distracted ... spuds supporting mate reckons he hurt himself ... how bad is it?
They say hard work never hurt anyone ... but why take a chance? |

Sakho got a knock late in first half - in hindsight he should have been replaced before 2nd half started. But that is easy to say when you know the answer...

Cough. Sakho didn't play at Liverpool. Therefore it wasn't tiredness unless you count his funny lengthy handshake with Tekkers.
