If Sir Sam decides the lads are not physically up for it, then I'd like to see blokes like Remy, McArthur and Mandanda get some minutes, as a launching pad for our last few games. Be good to have these types of players on the bench having played some matches. Mandanda Something like this depending who is/isn't up for it. Then we regroup for Burnley and the last matches.

Not a lot, we would be slaughtered in the media for rolling over to Spurs and bringing doubt to the integrity of the Premier league.

No we wouldn't: The PL forced this ridiculous and unfair fixture upon us. If we have to rest players for their health and safety they can't argue with that. It's why we have 'squads'.

Would like us to rest Cabaye, Zaha and Benteke (Remy if available to start on top. Otherwise the same lads with Kelly/Sakho as CD.

*NOTE TO SELF: Never ask 'but what do I know?' PVA, Sakho and McArthur seem likely to start to me. Plus one less-expected one. That'd constitute huge changes but wouldn't hugely weaken us.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |
