How do we use the squad? I would go all in vs Liverpool, rest some players vs Spurs, and hopefully be totally up for it vs Burnley.

The outcome tomorrow will pave the way for what happens. We could as sam has already said go all out tomorrow and come away with nothing. However a point or 3 will enable to us to go easy with Tottenham and then all out against Burnley . I do have a horrible feeling that either Burnley or hull will be a banana skin though . More so hull
When I was a young girl my Mother said to me.. You listen here kid you're CPFC |

Of course by tomorrow when we play we will know how the teams behind us, e.g. Swansea and Hull, have got on in their matches today. Mind you I don't think that will affect the way SA and the team approach the game tomorrow. But should the aforementioned teams drop points today it sure eases the stress on us fans. As for how we use the squad I am not in favour of playing a slightly weaker side against the stronger teams so that we can save ourselves for the more winnable games. If we'd done that against Chelsea and Arsenal we could now be 6 points worse off.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Hands up anyone who thinks that penalty for a "foul" on Victor Moses would've been given if it were Wilf. Edited by chateauferret (22 Apr 2017 6.02pm)

Great game at the mo, both teams going for it and looks bruising. Oh well doesn't look like extra time but could be demoralising if they concede again. can anybody check out to what extent our 3 adversary teams are also suffering fixture congestion ? i do recall big Sam going nuts cos Swansea had 3 days rest when we only had 2 days. thus they beat us. ps. i worked it out, liverpool and us...same amount of rest for both teams before match. tottenham and us....they rest for 3 days, us only for 2. Burnley and us....they rest for 5 days, us only for 2 Absolutely rotten luck for us. Surely somebody creating the schedules for the season can include something in the software to ensure fairness and a chance to recover from your previous game...a minimum of 3 days for everybody. Personally, i think there is an argument for playing our B team against Tottenham, and playing for a 0-0 draw ...especially if we get nothing from the Anfield game. Perhaps BS could call Herr Klopp and ask him what his 'point' of view is?
