I guess you are suggesting "They're all the same", but the events of the last few years/decades show one has developed more dangerously in its fundamentalist and aggressive aspects of teaching, while the other has become gradually less so. There are obviously instances of Christian aggression, but it's clear which group is more of a concern to the rest of the world. I'd rather not live next door to either person pictured, but I know which one is more likely to be a threat to my less than perfect but largely democratic, tolerant and equality-seeking nation. I fully expect abuse for this from some on this site.

Pretty sure the Christian holding the bible pic was pulled from the the battle of Berkeley (YouTube it)

As for the comparison there is no comparison, Islamic fundamentalism which has nothing to do with Islam is far worse.
Take a look at the moderates who did nothing whilst a student was murdered by his fellow Muslim students for blasphemy, of course it's worth pointing out it has nothing to do with Islam.

I was just suggesting that extremism of any kind is usually not an ideal. America is attacking predominantly islamic countries. If the roles were reversed and Islamic countries were attacking christian countries i'm sure there would be a rise in violent christian fundamentalism. Not that I agree with either side as I say, I think any form of extremism is pretty crazy.

Obvious difference is that Christian fundamentalists are not regularly driving trucks into us, blowing us up or trying to storm Parliament.

What are you saying?

Are you suggesting America attacked Syrian bases because Syria is a predominantly Muslim country?

Your 'message' is garbled, snowflake, millennial, 'Facebook like', SJW nonsense.

I didn't say america attacked syria because it was a muslim country but i was saying that if the roles were reversed many christians wouldn't be peaceful about the situation and would, possibly, resort to violence if their armies were not able to defend the people of the country from violence.

Whilst your point is fair there is still a postcode lottery element to it. If you are domiciled in certain parts of Uganda, South Sudan, the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of the Congo then it certainly is Christian, and not Wahhabi, extremists you would be wary of. They operate under the banner of The Lord's Resistance Army.

Other peoples under ongoing threat from non-Islamic groups, being 'terrorised' by, are dotted around too. Mexicans, Rohingas, Tamils, etc [Link] etc

Which is nonsense.

The recent strikes on Assad's bases, not civilian population centres, were a direct result of Assad using chemical weapons on his own people. Assad's actions were a war crime.

Whilst there is no doubting Assad is a cvnt of the highest order and in cahoots with child torturers and murderers this chap, who knows more than most, probably has his finger on the pulse and it does all make sense even if a few years old now.

I never mentioned anything about Assad. I don't agree with anything that he did to his own people.

Then what are you saying? America shouldn't attack the infrastructure of genocidal despots committing war atrocities on their own people for fear of upsetting Muslims?
