I Remember him being hauled off after 50 odd minutes at home to Swansea. He was being booed and rightly so. He nearly left on transfer deadline day on the win at b'mouth. I know he said in an interview that sammy lee gave him a shake up. His performances since that day have been great, especially his work rate been tremendous. On current form he certainly deserves an England recall.

Arguably he is proving critics right.

We all knew he was a better player than he had shown but more importantly he didn't seem to be really applying himself. Since City in the cup, and possibly the game before (can't remember who against) he has improved virtually game on game. He has been outstanding recently, set the tone for Monday and great again today.

I do sense a little niggle between him and Tekkers at times though.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Has Andros ever been as good as he is right now. Funnily enough he was always known for those cut in and hit it from 25 yards but he's sorted much more than that right now. Brilliant.

Didn't know about the Sammy Lee meeting. Interesting.

I heard him say in a interview after one of the matches.

F'ing damn right he is.

I cannot remember a player turning around form and crowd opinion so fast and so soon after transfer.

Couldn't stand him and now respect him a lot. The fact he wasn't the only new player or established player failing gives him an excuse now he's come out the other side.

The effort he is putting in is fantastic - never stops running. He now looks like the player we all hoped we had bought from Newcastle but for while were seriously doubting.

Today he put in two crunching tackles in the last couple of minutes before stoppage time at the end of the second half which stopped counterattacks dead in their tracks and put the pressure right back on the Leicester goal. Ran about 30 yards for each one. Now looks like an excellent attacking player and useful defending and running the ball from the back as well. Exposes defences that try to double up on Wilf by giving us another option and the chance to spray the ball about coming from the midfield.

Assist today for Benteke was also top quality.

This site never fails to make me laugh. He's beeen better than he was 100%. But want to see someone turn around their opinion from the fans quicker. I raise you our last last club captain before Scott dann. (Someone don't say paddy mac because I'll plead ignorance and not know his role unfortunately. I'm a bad fan &#128579
