Im thinking we look good to stay up
So in saying that I think the mindset at the club next year will be very different
Allardyce Im sure will push the owners to pay top money to keep Sakho and Zaha and also encourage them to go after big summer targets .
If we can keep hold of the squad, we have a very very good chance of getting top 10 with Sam in charge
We will of course move on a few , Campbell , Delaney , etc
But all is looking very good if we can secure safety

I think we may have to face up to losing Wilf in order to fund those future signings. It would be very tempting if an offer of £35M+ was on the table. But I am much more positive about our prospects,as I'm sure many are, after the 2 magnificent results from the Chelsea and Arsenal matches

I think it unlikely that we will keep Wilf. It would be easy for any player to say, I'm not going anywhere just yet but I'm not hearing that.

The way he has played this season, he must be thinking, now I can do it anywhere, especially after arse and chelski.

Sakho is the same. He must think, I can play Champions League. I can't see him wanting to stay, even if he loves playing for us and he does look like he's having a good time with us.

So if we lose those two, where will we be in terms of attracting new quality talent. Money to buy players has not been the problem lately and I think we can pay good wages if we have a mind to.

We need to add to the squad. It will be interesting to see who we can attract without Wilf if he goes.

I'm still positive that a nice mid table finish is not too much for us.

COYP.

Big mistake for us to sell Wilf - even for 35m. The reason is we don't do possession. We defend and we attack. Zaha is so good that we can have extra defenders and STILL be a scoring threat because Zaha regularly beats 2,3,4+ defenders and now either scores or assists. No one is going to be better than Zaha at beating defenders - tell me who if you know of anyone - and then tell me how much money they'll cost. Also, Zaha will now be getting attention from the television people: he has an entertainment factor, and we need that to attract future fans as well. Also, Zaha is now less of a lone ranger, now combining very well with Townsend and Benteke: why upset that? Come on! This team has 'clicked', Zaha is emerging into the superstar we all know he destined to become, is still young, and will probably end up at Barcelona or RM. Why sell him for 35m and watch Spurs sell him for double that in 3 years time? KEEP HIM.

If Pochettino or some others think they can snatch Wilf for 35 mill, they better think again...He's under contract, convince him to stay at least one more season and then if he's still this hot consider selling. Come summer price tag should be at least 50 mill - not a single penny less. With add-ons of course....

If we sell Wilf it will only be for the right offer and only if he wants to leave. For me it would need to be £80m plus and I wouldn't consider any price if he is happy staying. He's more valuable to us in the side.

Agree with all that apart from the last bit. In three years time Spurs would be selling him for more like £100m and that should be our pay day.

If Parish can keep him happy money wise and Sam convince him he'll be in Europe with Palace within a year and he can leave for Barcelona or RM if they come calling with £100m. Wilf will become a Palace legend, have more money than God and fulfill his football ambitions.

Spurs won't pay the £60 million wilf is worth. Wilf won't want to go back to Manchester for either city or united. The only thing that could happen is that Arsenal could use the money they get for Sanchez to sign Wilf. But with the club in turmoil at the moment who knows what they will do in the transfer market.
SP has said that Wilf is going nowhere. We need to get over the victim mentality at this club and stop thinking that our best players are just there for the taking because the sun runs a story saying that wilf is going to turn down the £110k a week contract that is apparently on the table for him.

I don't think that Spurts would pay 50mil either and I wouldn't sell for less than that but it all depends on what Wilf wants.

If a club like Chelski or the Arse come in for him at 35mil, that could be enough for Wilf to request a transfer. If he doesn't, that's all good to me but when SP comes out and says he's going nowhere, although I like the commitment to keep our best players, I believe he is going to want to go.

Everton can't keep Lukaku, we face the same problem with Wilf and to some extent attracting Sakho to the club.
