Allardyce isn't exactly Fergie but he has totally sorted this team out. Better signings than Pardew ever made, he has transformed players who were just awful under AP and it's night and day right now.

Agree. Yes, it makes Pardew look crap. Now please can we move on. I'm getting sick of the continuous Pardew threads. He's gone. It's done. Leave it at that.

Pardew made himself look crap because he is, well, crap. Thankfully he's history now and as you say the damage is being repaired. Great to see Kelly playing well again, I thought the damage Pardew had done to him might be irredeemable. Edited by chateauferret (11 Apr 2017 3.29pm)

Why should we move on? It's a relevant point that people are making here and the season isn't over yet. A season in which he almost caused damage that could have taken years to repair.

I don't get this. He took over and improved things no end (as he always does). He then after a year lost his way and everything turned to cr*p (as he always managed to do). If we'd got rid then it would have been perfect. But we kept him a bit too long, otherwise he would have been a good investment for the club. He was never as good as his disciples believed him to be, but he isn't as bad as is now being portrayed.
