According to our master and chief sam we only need another 3 points and it's job done I hope so as our game after Leicester is Liverpool which one of our best player is in eligible to play . In other words let's do on Saturday what we did last night which goes without saying of course

I'm not relaxing until we're mathematically safe. 37 points may well be enough, but if Swansea did get a result at Watford we'd still be looking over our shoulder. I'd rather be aiming to finish as high up the table as possible and I'm sure Sam will be aiming to do that as well.

Mid-table mediocrity with games left to play?? It's just not the Palace way.
I vote we take it easy for now and leave it for a crescendo of nerves and chewed fingernails at Old Trafford, who's with me???

Just me then??

I'd rather we got 40 at least and with Leicester, Hull and Burnley to come we should do that.

I think 4 points which would mean Swansea having to win 4 of the last 6. To be honest we should be able to take 4 points from our remaining games, obviously I want this done asap.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Everyone keeps talking about Hull as the biggest match but at this rate it could end up being entirely moot.

I was reading a hull forum and they're quite concerned with playing us with the majority hoping /expecting us to be safe by the time we play them so we go easy on them ha! Brilliant

Sadly (for them) the boys will not be going easy on anyone. They have the winning mentality and the smell of victory is in their nostrils!

The Swansea forum doesn't even mention us. It's them or Hull afa Swansea fans are concerned.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Go easy on them? We ought to exterminate them.

I'd like Palace and Hull both to stay up at the expense of Swansea, Bournemouth or West Ham (albeit the latter two are pretty unlikely). But I don't want us to roll over against Hull regardless of how safe we are.

It's good that all of our remaining opponents must be fearing playing us now. Not just because our form is the second best in the Premier League (that's a guess...I think Spurs are the only ones with better form than us over the last 6) but also because there is a certain element of unpredictability about us. Even if we're realistic, we can't be anticipating winning 80% of our remaining games, but we could literally pull a win out of any fixture. By the same score, we could lose against lesser teams.

I have always said 37 will do it this season but we need to be mathematically safe don't we.
37 would mean Swansea needing 3 wins and a draw and for us to lose every other game.
It is by no means over but last night was ahuge step in the right direction!
