It's Curcic and no we don't want the likes of him anywhere near our coaching staff. He may well have given "his all" when he joined us, but he'd completely lost interest by the time we were fighting relegation. He's a circus act with an over-fondness for alcohol whose career was effectively over by age 27.

I bumped into Sasa after the Chelsea match on his way to Nandos followed by 20/30 kids. He was a really nice guy to chat to, especailly as I bigged him up to the kids. Definitely a Joker in the pack.

I remember Steve Coppell wouldn't play him in the 97/98 season. My old man ended up having a beer with Coppell. He told him that Curcic was was by far one of the most gifted players he had ever worked with but his work ethic in training was shocking and he would constantly turn up late.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!
