Thinking of games of importance ahead of this one for winning the game, probably the semi final v Liverpool, Stockport, play off finals 1989 1998 2004 2013, I'm sure I'm missing many. I wasn't around but the 5 nil v Manure in the 70s, the Burnley record attendance game in 1979, the cup game v Chelski in the 70s. But was today in the running for one of the top ten games ever won by the Mighty Palace? For my time since 1989 I think it's there.

I don't think so . That was the worst Arsenal side I have seen in over 50 years . A great night ,a great victory and much needed points but top ten ever ? Not when your play s***e .

Great performance , all of the above . The 2-4 win at Wrexham in the 3rd division is up there too . Chelsea , Leeds and Sunderland all away in the cup run all 3 teams had huge home records , especially Leeds and Sunderland .

For me that was our best premier league win, the whole team were outstanding. It wasn't because Arsenal were poor, we won because we were so good. Right from the first whistle when we were closing them down everytime they had the ball you knew we were going to win.

Arsenal were pants and the game was a three pointer so not a top 10 as there have been so many other great achievements. Doing Brighton at the Amex. Doing West Ham, Sheff U, Blackburn, Watford in the play offs. The 3-3. Burnley, Fulham 1969. Too many. The top two though have to be, because at the time they were both one of the best teams in Europe and we outplayed them and the prize was enormous, Leeds away in 1976 and Liverpool at Villa Park 1990. They put out their best first X1 too. Edited by Kermit8 (11 Apr 2017 7.20am)

I'd say there are way more than ten games more memorable than this, but this is extremely satisfying and is important for our overall points tally. To lose against Leicester is would be a disappointment, especially now we have strong home form.
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

Definitely up there but the 5-0 drubbing of Manchester United in the Don Rogers days still gives me a warm feeling.

What a day that was; Moan Utd players arguing with each other and having to be separated. Just a shame how that season ended when all looked so rosy at that point....
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |
