In all the excitement nobody seems to have mentioned Dann and Tomkins. I'm surprised Sam wasn't asked about them in his MOTD interview. Has anyone heard anything?

Imagine they'll be getting scans tomorrow to determine the severity.

Can we have news on here as soon as anybody knows.

Worried about Dann, seems similar to the one he had at Selhurst when he left on crutches about 18 months ago.

NOt getting any more injuries was my major hope for yesterday's game (not even considering we could beat them LOL)

Tompkins substitution sounded like precaution, but Dann's looked serious. Costa followed through with his tackle and did some serious damage.

On another note.. is there any hopeful news about Connor Wickham?

Seems ages since he played for us!

Last I saw/know, was the Chelsea home game. Saw him moving very sheepishly on crutches and wincing in discomfort. Could tell he would be out for the season from that.

Not quite sure how to link tweets but Allardyce in the Conference just said this;

SA: Scott Dann is more serious that we thought, he's in a brace. A few weeks we think. Tomkins not so bad, PvA making progress.

SA: They won't be in contention for Southampton and maybe not Arsenal, which will test the squad now.

Damo will have to be up to the task then and we had better hope for no more injuries. These are 2 key games so to be without both Tomkins and Dann (as well as PVA and Remy) will make things tougher.

From the BBC:

Here's the latest from Sam Allardyce:

"Scott Dann is more serious that we thought, he's in a brace. A few weeks we think. Tomkins not so bad, Patrick van Aanholt is making progress.

"Scott's is a knee ligament injury. He'll be in a brace for 2 or 3 weeks I'd have thought then we'll go from there.

"They won't be in contention for Southampton and maybe not Arsenal, which will test the squad now.

"Loic Remy is back training with the squad."

Hoping with Super Dooper Luka in front of the back four, Damo's lack of pace won't be exposed. Definitely less worried about Damo at the back than I would've been a few months ago. And of course there's the beast to help him out.
