I know all the talk has been about Spurs but I'm wondering if that is his best fit

If Hazard goes to Real Madrid, Wilf might be the ideal replacement. Conte appears to like a system where he can just replace players like for like and good close control winger with the ability to move inside and shoot hard are difficult to find

Zaha's goal today can only up his rep and if he can carry on his recent form against the top sides in the next few weeks it will be good for him and Palace

Of course I'd love him to stay but a top London club in the Champions league would be a big temptation Spurs may be restricted by their wage structure which they have done well to hold on to given some of the talent there

Just stop it please. The best place for Wilf is SE25. We love him, he's our #1 star & he could lead us to greater things. I know he'll probably leave but let's just believe he's the Palace Matt Le Tissier.

No one in South of London want WZ to leave, but it might happen. His stunning goal yesterday probably up'ed his price tag with a couple of millions, he's soon too good for most clubs. Would not be surprised if the real heavy ones came in with an offer - I mean United paid 89 mill for Pogba after they sent him away a couple of seasons ago.

He has chosen to play for an underdog team in Ivory Coast over England. So if you apply the same logic at club level.......
He will need to be paid a salary to match Benteke to stay.
It could happen (wishful thinking).
This season he really has blossomed. I wouldn't let him go for less than £ 50 M now.
Unfortunately a top global club will be in for him in the summer.

Bring it on Wilf. You are magic. A seriously gifted modern player.

After that goal in Russia I'd expect quite a few clubs to be after him.

He's likely to leave I reckon - but will smash our record transfer fee received.

Just seen it..took the Michael out of that Russian defence. Best thing we can do is get that new deal sorted, enjoy it while we can. Hope he goes abroad.

Hazard is a level or two above Wilf and no way would Chelsea be interested unless it was just to have him as a peripheral squad player.

Best solution would be him to stay next season and we come sixth or seventh and Europa league.

He could play for Everton and Southampton at that level now for sure but higher than that would be a tough ask.

Great goal, it's just a shame it wasn't in an England shirt.

Correction.

He chose The Igory Coast after waiting for ages on England and then realising it wasn't going to happen.

He chose to leave to Man Utd but wasn't ready, good enough, whatever. Now he's getting better he'll want to go at some point.
