Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere....but when I found out today that Wilfried is in Russia for a friendly international game...I got worried : an injury to our most talented foward would seriously effect our chances of staying up.

If we're relying that heavily on one (very talented) player to keep us up in the ongoing dogfight then we're screwed.
We're not though in my opinion.

We are currently relying on him a little less because of our 3 wins but i think it would be fair to say we relied heavily on him before xmas

Well we only won one game before Xmas.
Anyhow its the International break I'm watching Luka in Georgia.
Wilf will be in Paris Wednesday.
Any of the lads can get injured in games or training.
Lets hope they all come back fit.

Wilf scores a great solo goal...... Can only be good for his moral.

Looked to me like the best goal he's ever scored in terms of skill and being in control. Interesting that he did a lot of that on his left foot and cut through from an inside left position. I'm warming to him playing there.

What's the difference in playing in Russia, than anywhere else?
He is just a likely to get injured playing international football anywhere.

That wasn't a very funny punchline.
