As it says.

Having a new kitchen fitted from today. Friday the new floor will go down which I am paying for. Can't have laminate flooring as it's too thick for the doors and the existing floor being lowered isn't an option. Looking at vinyl planks to be laid. Want ones which look and feel like matt charcoal colour slate / riven stone.. b and q do them. Anywhere else peeps would recommend. Want a decent price on them obvs

Go for Karndean or similar Its excellent stuff and you can buy it online or get a proper flooring company to do it. For a cheaper option Carpetright do a Vinyl flooring that looks like wood planks its not bad stuff providing they lay it properly.

be careful with the vinyl planks as ive had them twice...first lot when i took up the glue stays on the floor and is mega sticky..no way to get it off..we tried everything..had to get exact same stuff again to redo taking other up bit by bit and replacing it as we went along. After a few months the glue starts to creep up between the actual planks..goes black and have to keep scraping off then it comes again..if you are going vinyl id go a total floor covering that looks like planks rather than the individual planks.

Glue doesnt come through, its there after you lay them. Need to clean them off once laid with white spirit on a soft cloth then it will not go black. A kitchen floor should reallly be done by a proffessional.
