..to Selhurst Park for the game vs Burnley. My wife, my daughter and me. My dream is that this match will finally make us safe. Should be a noisy evening if so. Anyone up for a beer before the match? And where?

I'm in Australia otherwise I'd be glad to meet for a pint. Have a great match - I hope you Norwegians are lucky!

I am making my first trip to Selhurst Park for the Burnely match as well. 3 of my good buddies are taking me to London for my 50th? I would love some good suggestions for pubs Saturday. Schedule is cleared for the afternoon to visit several pubs..

Suggestions are: The Cherry Tree, nextdoor to Norwood Junction station. The Two Brewers or The Cronx (google) The Clifton Arms,...right next door to Se;hurst Park
I disengage, I turn the page. |

just to add that 'Crystal Palace' train station is nowhere near Selhurst. Make sure of your travel plans

May I suggest an early pub lunch in Crystal Palace itself - the club's original home - and just a mile and a half away from the ground before grabbing a quick pint in a pub much nearer to Selhurst Park before kick off. It's just that the eateries there are a helluvalot nicer than those around the club.
