Talksport reporting Karanka has been sacked. There'll probably get a bounce now so they are not dead yet....
The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years |

New manager will have to put up with the players that he inherits not an easy job as most are of Championship level especially the forwards.Don't think the "bounce" will be very high.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Karanka Sacked' by kenbarr I thought we'd left our managerial change a bit late, but 'Boro really are taking a chance.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Karanka Sacked' by kenbarr At least we've already played them twice, and beaten them! All this does is says that it's solely up to us to stay up, so we have to keep winning and not rely on other teams to prop us up.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Karanka Sacked' by kenbarr Was reading today that he would probably be gone unless they beat United. I guess they're hoping to do a Leicester. Have a funny feeling they'll get a point at OT with Ibra suspended, so we must win

I thought we'd left our managerial change a bit late, but 'Boro really are taking a chance. They were heading down with him, they have nothing to lose in getting rid of him. This could free them up a little bit, a new manager might try getting them to play a bit more expansive football. It's late but in the season but they could still make a turnaround and suddenly string a run together.

Agreed, they were dead and buried as he didn't seem to want change what obviously wasn't working, now it's anyone's guess what will happen.
