Just our luck. I was looking forward to them putting Hull to the sword and then Lukaku decides he wants out which will cause a deflated home crowd and possibly players too. I bet Hull cant believe their luck

We can't rely on other teams, we've gota concentrate on getting points ourselves. We've seen that with Liverpool losing to all our relegation rivals!

We thought we could get at West Ham when Payet went on strike and that didn't go so well. Let's hope...

I thought we could finish above Leicester and Bournemouth before the last weekends fixtures and now I do not.

I think we will definitely finish above Sunderland and Middlesbrough but am not confident finishing ahead of Hull so that would mean dragging the likes of Watford or Burnley down.

It's just one of those things when playing catch up, one week you can realistically see yourself finishing 12th, the next you can't find 3 worse teams than you.

The fact that we've taken 6 points from 2 games and still find ourselves right in the soft stuff provides a stark reminder - if it were needed - of the terrible position we'd got ourselves into.

He hasn't said that he wants out as he has said that he doesn't wish to sign an extension to a contract that still has two years to run

This hunt for points is the reason I was so livid at Pardew after our first game against wba. Then we lost again the next week to Spurs. The first few matches lower teams can catch the bigger teams out as they're not always in full swing. 3 points now against either WBA or Spurs would have been handy. Now we've got a fight on our hands. But the nice thing about this is that Palace are good at playing as underdogs, and often respond to these challenges. I think Palace will go on a run. I think we'll nick a few points from the top teams.

He hasn't said he wants out, He has not agreed the contract they offered him. They have had this speculationm before and it did not seem to phase him.
At the end of the day if we win our games we dont need to worry about the others.

Couldn't hit a 'Barn door' for Everton who paid £13.5 mill for him but he has done well for Hull.

He was a Martinez signing but I don't think he has played for Koeman and had been training with the reserves at Everton before Hull took him out on loan. The Hull manager showed faith in him but clearly Koeman doesn't rate him.

What surprises me about this, is that anyone is surprised that he hasn't signed a five year deal with Everton.

It won't phase him. He knows that he could pretty much walk into any team in Europe or the Premiership. When the very top clubs are paying silly money and crazy wages for less proven players, of course he's not going to take a 100,000k a week job at Everton.

If anything RL should play better I would if I was trying to justify asking for more money & to generate other interest. We've had a stroke of luck with Kane being injured for the spurs game.
