Checking on flights prices to Tampa,Florida for this Thursday for some friends

Premium £1321..same page shows to upgrade to Business is £1549..sounds decent for a couple of hundred extra.

Look for Business only, same flight is £1418.

Any ideas why the increase for same flight ?

They don't usually offer First on that route in my experience.

I got Business for £800 ( outward only ) last May, Premium Economy was more expensive !

They dont do First direct, only via somewhere...but the price is still different,if you look only for First, then look for economy/premium/first.

I got mine for £740 one way, going out Thursday

only £575 in economy, why waste all of that money? If there's 2 of you that's more than £1500 saved just for a few hours flying.

Really? Just think what you could do with that extra £1500 at the other end.

Not your fault, you wouldn't know - but the man doesn't turn right when boarding a plane

Back in my drinking days, I was in the Pig N Whistle on 47th St ( which has now gone) when In a already packed bar the seat next to me became available & this guy asked if he could sit there? "Be my guest" I said. I asked him if he was on holiday? No not really he said, he was over to do a quick job which he had just finished & was flying back home the same afternoon.
He was some type of IT whizz & his company had flown over on Concorde & was fling him back the same day on Concorde as well !!
Imagine how much that must of cost. I normally roll my eyes at BS in a bar, but the guy showed me the tickets.

I can never workout why BA Prices differ depending on the search. If you put in First class they give you the highest price avaliable. Put in Economy they give you the lowest prices for Economy and then Business and First Class. Why not give you the best rate to start with?. Suppose they have clients that dont flinch at the price quoted and just pay it. I priced up first Class to New York and Back and they came up at £21,000 return for two of us. I booked Business at £7000 return and then paid £1100 more at the Airport to upgrade to First Class.
