If we can sign Sakho and keep Wilf, Townsend and Mandanda I'd take that as a great transfer window. Edit: in fact if we can keep our current first team squad together it'll be a great window and a great bases to start the new season. The worry is more the players we may not have next year than any potential signings we might or might not get. Keeping the manager and the squad together should be paramount. Now it may not be possible but if we can I don't think anyone should be disappointed... Could even enable us to let a few players move on and free up some space for development players or the odd cheap signing Sam can find. But literally if all our buisness is to consolidate the great great players we now have. Well you'll get no complaint from me. Give Wilf a huge contract and Sakho too. That should show our other talent that it's not time to jump ship and we don't have to sell our best. Then the following season we'll be seen as a club that doesn't sell their best. One signing I wouldnt want to see: Sakho. No matter how consistent he will be these last months, paying 20 million for him is stupid. And I'd hate it if the fans demanded it in the summer (which seems to be the case)

Just Sakho for me, we made the mistake of too many expensive signings at once last summer which unsettled the team spirit, hopefully if we stay up things will obviously be looking a lot better in that department and Wickham and Souare will be like a couple of new signings anyway!!

We need a second striker or number 10 just to give us a different approach if we need it. Wickham is too similar to Benteke for them to consistently be picked together and have any real effect. We need another box to box type in midfield; McArthur's powers are fading imo and there is no one else to compete or relace a player of his mold. And a Centre back; Sakho preferably based on his displays so far. They need to be leader material as Dann isn't a natural leader at the back.
