Amazingly we have created a gap and I’m hoping we can keep it that way. I’m hoping for Parrot the soothsayer

If Middlesbrough win next weekend then we're back in the Jetton three. Not much of a gap yet. After back to back wins and then a further break I hope we are ready to continue in this vein of form. Not being negative but not getting ahead of myself.

we looked good today and had we been in the top 10, today`s victory would have been very acceptable.

Bournemouth have the Hammers at home, they have to win but the Hammers are proving tough to beat since the City thrashing. Draws are likely. Bournemouth have problems with defenders and have already had to draft Tyrone Mings into the centre of defence but it's quite likely that Mings will be sitting out the next few games unless stamping on heads is now legal. Surman will also be missing next weekend after his sending off

We've got ourselves ahead of the pack but one win for boro and a loss for us put us back there. Let's take one game at a time. The players deserve a 2 week break. Let's hope they come back with the same spirit they showed against boro and wba. Also let's not get complacent. We still need another 13 pts in my opinion. Which will be difficult with the fixtures remaining. Coyp

Most of us have been here before to know that it is a long way from over. It's about this time of the season that the bottom clubs start picking up some strange results against the top. We did it to Chelsea a few years ago to cement our place in the Prem, and it will be the same this year too. The big difference now is that Sam has got us into a position to nick the odd point off everyone now. I don't fancy us getting anything from Chelsea or Arsenal, but everyone else is a potential 1 point at least. I reckon we need between 9 points (if we are lucky) and 11 points to stay up. It seems achievable from here, but there is a long way to go and I haven't seen enough good performances in a row yet to feel comfortable that we do not have another Sunderland performance in us.

I agree.don't think we'll need 40 points this year. I think 34 or 35 points should be enough.

Iff we beat watford we have a good chance of staying up but I'm not optimistic about our chances especially with the team's we have to play if we could win our home games it would be great and pick up a couple of draws away against the big boys it might help but it was alot better against WBA we play like we did yesterday we have a good chance
