Hmmm
I felt we were better v Bournemouth
Yep good result for sure
BUT
If Boro took their chances they would have won
Also
Very surprised to see Jimmy Mc on the bench , always our most consistent starter

Thoughts ?

Nothing ordinary about this result.
Ordinary for us is to put in a sub standard performance and lose in the last ten minutes.
A huge improvement.

You could say the same about Bournemouth taking their chances. Which were really them fizzing a few shots in from long range. It's us keeping out the clear chances that goes miss sometimes.

My thoughts are it's a shame that you cannot just enjoy a rare win.
Instead you start a ridiculous thread.

Some people just love to start a thread or dozens.

I think Boro had a couple of decent moves that didn't really lead to chances, then a couple of other half chances that came from loose balls in the box.

Hard to really think of too many clear cut chances that they squandered. Even the Stuani effort was a bit of a snap chance.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Ordinary is a vast improvement for us. We've been poor with occasional flashes over the season. I'd settle for being a consistently below average Premiership Football team.

Why don't the Mods delete pointless threads like this? They're littering this site like a park with no bins.

It has to be said, Middlesbrough were poor, but so were swansea and Sunderland leading up to when we played them, but we managed to lose to them and those two crushing defeats are a large part of why we're in this s***. So boro WAS a massive improvement, this game really felt like do or die and they pulled it off, so let's enjoy it for a few days!!

My thoughts are you don't know what you are on about.
Its all about opinions sure but 'had they taken their chances....' What chances? Load of trip. Each shot they had (I counted 4 were either very tame or straight down Hennesey's throat. The main reason we won is Boro were rubbish. They came for a point, showed little ambition. Once they fell behind so their game plan fell apart as chasing a 1 0 deficit was not in that game plan and they had little idea of what to do.
I almost felt sorry for Negredo. He had zero support, fed off scraps and then gets hooked for that well know prolific striker Gestede!
