Unbelievable atmosphere from Palace fans yesterday. The chairmen put it down to the fans as much as the players. The Palace spirit was on full show yesterday, fans and players battling together. Hope to have another display ready for the Watford game. Roll on West Brom.

The HF were excellent yesterday all in place early and ready to support the team, display was great and vocals as usual prompted the whole of Selhurst to get behind the team..it worked and we won, even the Main Stand where I sit was joining in..long may it continue, great atmosphere.

I noticed they were in very early. It's not often you see prolonged chanting/a section of fans bouncing during the warm ups.
For me, the importance of the game was certainly reflected by the heightened atmosphere and made for a thoroughly enjoyable 90 mins.
I'm also a big fan of the displays, someone must be putting in a lot of effort to get those sorted, well done whoever you are.

I wouldn't single out the HF especially I thought the support throughout the ground was magnificent, back to it's best.
We're not hard to please,we just want the odd win or two.

I'd single them out for getting the ground jumping from the start! But yes, the support was outstanding from all!

The HF can be excellent but they need the rest of us to step up too. Yesterday showed exactly what happens when the HF and the rest of the ground work together.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I agree, I would give them some credit for getting in early and making a noise as the players went through their warm up routines.
Clearly got inside the players minds, they loved it!

That's not to say that the whole ground didn't play its part either from the kick off. Also nice to score first for a change!

Was a fantastic Palace effort from before kick off. Hope we can keep the boys up on the remaining home games. Watford will be another huge test of both the fanbase and the players at home. More of the same from both please.

Thought doing "We Love You" straight on kick off was a fantastic idea, really got the stadium going. Was like the good old days on Saturday, more of the same please!

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

As a 'main stand man' well done to the HF for showing the way. My observation is that the main stand join in best when the chant is rhythmic , song like. We love you, CPFC clap clap clap...and we can stamp our feet on the old wooden stand.
We are not so good on the complicated wordy stuff, or trying cram 'Sam Alaardyces Red and Blue Army ' words into a tune it doesn't fit.
So, keep it up HF please, but when it's backs to the wall and you need the main stand too, keep it simple and catchy!
Oh, and by the way, back in the day, I used to find the repetition of 'Eagles' quite spine chilling, and hostile. I'm sure we came back to draw against Arsenal in 2004 when that unnerved them.

What a wonderfully apt remark.
