Benteke seems like he isn't a team player and doesn't give a damn about Palace. He's a massive sulker and thinks he doesn't score goals because his team mates are inferior.

In reality, his team mates don't pass because they're probably fed up with him slowing everything down. It was a mistake on Townsend's part but as the game finished with a Palace win this is just nonsense.

It's ashame that 30 million only buys you someone that only looks half interested when you directly put the ball on his head from 6 yards out.

Unfortunately though, Remy is a sicknote and wasn't on bench again today, I'm sure he'd be a better fit. We could also look at someone in the Andy Caroll mould if we stay up but obviously right now you have to go with Benteke over the likes of Frazier Campbell and hope he shows up occasionally.

Benteke passed to Townsend thinking he was going to get it back, instead of andros going for glory.
I was in the Whitehorse, & anticipated just that, so was shouting at Andros (not that he could hear) when the ball went skywards. I think on this occasion benteke has every right to be pissed off, as he could have gone for glory too but passed to Townsend in what I would call team play..

Benteke to Townshend to benteke, Goal !! Would of been a beautiful bit of team play.
