But is the real problem with Allardyce himself? Has the man whose concrete-clad self-confidence in everything he did been scarred by his calamitous one-match, 67-day reign as England manager, which ended after he was caught in a newspaper sting? Certainly Allardyce has not seemed the bullish, brash operator of old.

The England job was meant to be the pinnacle of his career, the job he had craved for more than a decade, not an embarrassing "blink and you'll miss it" interlude before another Premier League relegation battle.

We will find out Saturday?? if we lose against Boro, even myself who is very optimistic regarding our survival, will feel it's gone to s***!
That defeat against Sunderland and letting Swansea who were below us at the time, take all 6 points off us are the nails in the coffin..

But we are going to win, right!!

Win tomorrow and it'll swing 70/30 the other way. It's the nature of the beast

I've never likes him and never thought he's be the Saviour! Now all this blaming the players show lack of professionalism and clearly making excuses for what he's lacking.

Prove us all wrong BFS FFS

My God! Big Sam's press conference today was utterly dreary. Utterly uninspiring. If the players feel like I do how on earth are they in the right place psychologically? Don't tell us you are frustrated after two weeks of focused work with the squad - Seems as though nothing has happened psychologically during the last fortnight.

If only it were White, rather than Yellow!

He looked a broken man today and had the appearance of somebody who had been sleeping in his car... something ain't right, he seemed pretty down on the players, he obviously feels he ain't getting the right response from them.

Hopefully same polling methodology used to predict Brexit

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

long way to go yet , sam inherited a bunch of unfit players who had no tactical idea on how to defend ,yesterday the players looked so much fitter and they saw the game out well, plus ledly kelly, and damo god bless him were not up to it , having sahko and luka in the team was a massive improvement townsend has improved as a player too ,lets just hope we can improve again, well done sam credit where credit is due , but its still going to be very hard for him to keep us up
