Seems a decent article to me. True what he says, if Palace don't start well the fans will get nervous, and that could impact on the team.

Yes is fair enough. The normal sort of thing a player or coach would think or say. People seem to take offence so easily these days.

I live in hope that Sam has worked on removing our team's excessive respect for other teams. Two Palace goals in first fifteen minutes will be a good start. This thread concerns a former Palace player who I am pleased is doing well - ideally we need to leave Selhurst Park on Saturday feeling that a whole team of current Palace players have done well. I concur with these sentiments.

He was talking a lot of sense and was being respectful of our club and supporters.

He's speaking the truth. Like it or not, if we go 1-0 down, the fans will stop singing as much and if we go 2-0, most will go in to meltdown.

I'm not saying that's right, or wrong, but that's just the way things are these days.

Seems a pretty positive article to me - he speaks positively about Palace fans getting behind their team, and says Boro will want to heap the pressure on and make the most of the current nervousness at the club to try to silence or turn the fans.

Spot on.

Anyone who watched the Sunderland game would know exactly what he means - although can't see Boro scoring four in 90 minutes let alone 45.

Who could of forseen Sunderland scoring Four against us?
We go 1-0 down we need to lift the team not turn on them. Can remember games against Sheef Weds and Cardiff when we went behind and the fans upped the noise and we turned the games around. The main thing i want to see is passion from the players.
