Reports suggest that he is over the moon with his move to the Royals, loves working with Stam and would like a move on a permanent basis.
In the unlikely event that we are relegated, would we want him back in our squad to prepare for life in the Championship ??

Unlikely event? Love your optimism.

I wouldn't want him back, another reminder of some of the big money we have wasted. The Reading system might suit him but I would prefer we got a few players with some talent and lots of heart in. Never saw much of either in him.

Perhaps there really is a god.

We should actually move ground without telling him, just in case he changes his mind. Abject failure in a Palace shirt.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

There is possibility that he (as an individual) could be playing in the Prem next season and we (as a club) won't be....fair play to him I'd say.

He is getting to play regular games, where as was rarely making the bench even with us. You cant blame him for wanting to play and hence move on. Good luck to him.

Wasted because he was never played in his right position.

Unlikely event that we are relgated? How can it be with us playing poorly and second bottom? Things may change but you can't say it's unlikely.

Regarding Mutch, I wouldn't take him back, he was dreadful for us, I just can't see him ever doing well for us. I'm glad he's playing well at Reading though

Imagine the irony.
Reading go up as we may well go down,as apart from Merson,we appear to be everyone's favourite to be one of the bottom three.
Mutch could not make it with us and returns to the Premiership potentially with Reading.
Funny old game,football.

Is he playing well for them ? If he is looking good at that level then we may wish to hold on until the summer.
