Yes this is the way I see it. Although I thought Townsend was one of our better players going forward the other day I think Schlupp will get the nod to try and combat Traore's scary pace. Ward and Puncheon definitely need to have a rest. Hopefully Dann will be fit and fingers crossed no other injuries between now and then. Only possible change I could see is Remy instead of Cabaye to play behind Benteke...how brave/attacking will we be in this 6 pointer? I'm nervous already!

Agree with OP, but with Ward in for Tomkins. Ward has been dreadful, but Tomkins has been a bit of a liability too - better at least to play a natural right-back.

Agree, but swap Townsend for Schlupp. Townsend's performance are getting better.

lets see how many injuries we accrue in the next few weeks whilst they have a break. No Dubai break, probably all going to Butlins in Bognor instead.

Townsend and Cabaye to come on as impact subs. Scare the s**t out of Boro by direct wing play - this will create space between their defence and midfield and allow Remy (supported by one of the DMs from time to time) to feed off Benteke. Would rather have Lee on the bench for Ledley.

I think we ought to be playing Remy up with Benteke wherever we can because otherwise the gap from the midfield to the front men (well, man) is too wide. Hennesey And if that back four can't take care of Bumfluff therre's something even more seriously wrong than we thought.

When is Mandanda back? Like many people (and unfortunately our back 4) my heart drops when I see Hennessy on the team sheet. If not Steve, then bring back Jules - at least it will give confidence to the defence
