Can we keep on playing the same or similar players that have failed to turn us around? Got to question who has the heart and who doesn't for this relegation battle. There are some supposedly less able players that have shown more heart when called upon: Campbell, Flamini, Sako plus Sakho and Milivojevic (hopefully) Schlupp looks like he'd put in more effort than PVA and Townsend looks fired up now. Of the current starters or those in and around the first XI: Cabaye, Zaha, McArthur seem to have a decent bit of fight about them, the rest not so sure. The players do need a mental shift, the new players are there to do that but we must start with the goalkeeper. It's this thing that seems to hang over the players head, everyone who's ever played football at any level knows how your performance gets affected when you don't believe in the keeper behind you. The goal on Saturday was NOT Hennessey's fault but you have to feel that changing things just so there's a newish start at the back, can make a difference to the belief. Allardyce says he's not influenced by fans calling for changes but hopefully he see's sense and starts to ring the changes.
