Played well I thought. Knew what he was doing and was calm. Can pass so that's great! Has to start every game. Drop Punch and play Remy or Cabaye further foreard.

Very good positioning. Didn't get drawn out wide or too far forward. Won the ball and played a good simple ball. Looked very comfortable in possession. Tried a couple of long balls which didn't come off. All in all a good debut. .

I actually thought he was anonymous. But Im not sure that's such a bad thing. Why is it that the ball always seems to be with either Ward or Tomkins ?? All they do is hoof it and you mainly remember all the bad passes etc and most of them seem to come from these 2 today.
