Plenty of players who aren't cuttung it in the Premiership would rip many Championship sides to bits, if we managed to keep them. Look at Gayle. Even Mutch scores goals now. Unfortunately the journeyman mentality is such that some of them will want more money to sit on benches in Premiership sides who would rather not play them but have to have cover. Puncheon in particular I think would be so good in the Championship that nobody could believe he'd been this s***e in the Premiership this season. I don't suppose Souare and Wickham would be going anywhere having been injured for so long but if they make full recoveries they too would stomp on most Championship opposition. We might get another season out of Delaney, who is probably not up to another year of Premiership football. The other problem though is that you are busy. Take into account the cups and that's about 50 or more competitive matches. If the squad isn't deep enough you do a Seaweed.
