What I found quite amusing about it all was that nobody seemingly had the capacity to organise a trip. I would have thought that EasyJet could have organised a flight and a hotel and car hire - oh and a correctly sized cabin bag and reasonable rates on checked baggage and in-flight meals and any golf clubs players wished to take with them.

My understanding was that the trip to Dubai was cancelled last week. It was always going to be more recreation than training. If our players can't communicate with each other on the pitch what added value is there from playing a few rounds of golf and a spot of sun bathing? Take em all down to Macdonalds for a Happy Meal and then to the local Rec for a kick about. That's truly about their level.
