I would like Sam to give the captain armband to jimmy mac. Scott dann has been one of the poorest captain we've ever had. I feel a new captain, new start.

Thoughts

Wasn't that long ago on HOL that there were those lauding him as a captain and a player and suggesting he should get a call-up by England.

Good player, was at points of this season that he was worthy of a call-up but never rated him as a captain. He's the most talented of our CB's, dangerous from free-kicks, good first touch, decent passer but the leadership duties should have remained with Delaney.

I feel it like a nuse round his neck. A fresh start with Jimmy mac, why not?

Difficult question as some players have there form suffer badly when given the responsibility of skipper.
JimmyMac is an all-action player much needed in the team and is a fine example to others.
He's a good candidate but I'd hate to see his game suffer.
No other stand-out candidates .... possibly Dammo but ... not sure.

We move in the direction of our thoughts.
Just think a little.

That's HOL for you. Reminiscent of the Ministry of Truth in 1984 where history is constantly being rewritten.

JM is a good and hardworking player - but he's not a leader, imho.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

He may not be a leader, but since mile we haven't got one. He can't be any worse than dan. I think it would be refreshing if jimmy mac leads us out against stoke rather than Damo.

JMac is a bit of a joker and pisstaker by all accounts and maybe a good personality and friend not a leader in the eyes of the other players .

I would give it to Hennessy in the hope that he finally realises that communication with others and taking responsibility will make him the keeper we all hoped he would be .
