I stay in Crystal Palace itself when I come up. Spoilt for choice on the restaurant front there and walking distance to the ground. Don't stay at the Queen's Hotel.

Regularly travel up from Holsworthy or Exeter. Meet my son and we usually have a beer in Clifton Arms in Holmesdale road before & after the game. Great atmosphere- even when we lose !!

As Kermit said, loads of good places in Crystal Palace. The Alma is a good pub/restaurant and the first you come to if you walk from Selhurst but there are plenty more. The only thing it's lacking is a decent sports pub if you ever feel you can stomach more football after watching Palace, although there are some down towards Gypsy Hill if you're happy to walk a bit further. Can't comment on any hotels or B&Bs but there are a few on the same road as the Queens.

I've been told by people who have stayed there the tower hotel next to queens hotel is ok cheap and cheerful.
