Good. Need to drum it into them we will not let any of them slip into a 'it's alright I'll get a contract elsewhere anywhere' liberty. 1 thing to remember is Sam hasn't played more than 1 player in any game yet. Something to cling on to.

Wonder if it's going to make any difference? The players are paid good money to be professional, but they could be beaten by a Sunday league side at the moment.

Allardyce has been left 'Shell-shocked' by yesterday's performance and result. He must now realise that he has taken on a far greater challenge than he envisaged and might be regretting coming here in the first place.Might be one of those "If only I had known." situations. It is said that he took over a far less talented squad at Sunderland and that he faced a bigger task there - In his first 7 league games there he picked up 9 pts, including the 1-0 win at 'Selhurst Park'. He has picked up just 4 pts from his first 7 league games at our club.

If he really is the the go to manager at times like this then now is the time for him to prove it. What he didn't realise was what a bunch of spineless under achievers that make up the squad there is at the club. Talent - no shortage. Character - sod all.

Wrong appointment but we're stuck with him. To be fair, it's becoming clear that the players are mentally weak. I'd be embarrassed if I were them. Not felt this disconnected to the players ever. There isn't one who I feel 'gets it'. Selling the likes of Mile may have looked good on paper but has left us characterless.
