It is difficult to find any optimism at the moment but i'm going to try!!! All of the bottom six teams have some really tough games against the top teams, yes i know we face ours towards the end, but at least unlike a couple of teams who have to play the top teams all in a row, our games are sandwiched between some winnable!!(yes i know we find any game hard!! but lets hope our new players gel, and our underachieving players suddenly perform, because lets face it on paper we are better than most of the teams down there) so i think that is a slight advantage?? (maybe!!?)

Another glimmer of hope? the fact that at least four of the teams in the bottom six all have at least one game against each other, which will mean one team will not collect any points, or even better both teams only take one point. All this means i'm pretty certain that 35 points will be enough this year. That means another 16 points for us from our remaining 14 games. I'm sure we are good enough to get 4 wins and 4 draws, which would mean we could still get away with 6 defeats

There was a glimmer of hope on Saturday - we didn't concede a goal in the last 10 minutes.

Every game is different, otherwise we wouldn't have got the 3 points at Bournemouth - keep the faith!

I'm pinning my new hopes on the new four. Milivojevic in particular could potentially make a huge difference. I know he's been playing in Greece, but was the best player in the best team in the league, tackles like a police dog, comfortable with ball at feet, and has an eye for a pass, forwards even. We've had Puncheon.
