Two and a half hour drive to get there. My usual parking space was closed so an additional 30 minute shuffle to and from the ground with a painful leg. Was it worth the effort .... of course not!

Fly back to Aberdeen tonight, drive Montrose , should get home about 10 as long as easy jet play ball, which is more than I can say for our players. Been to 10 matches this season...9 defeats!!!

Leave home at 1000, drive to Ryde, get on the fastcat ferry to Portsmouth then Train to East Croydon then another train to selhurst, then the reverse journey home normally getting home around 9pm. To see that!!

I worked Friday night, so after 2hrs sleep I got up, left home at 11am, got to Palace at 1.30, then watched that soul less performance. Left the ground at 5pm and got home at 8pm. Was it worth it? Yes it was because no matter what happens I will be back next home game as normal. I am a season ticket holder and have been a supporter for the last 55 years. I was 5 years old when my Dad took me to my first game. So.....see you all at the next home game.

Three hours return rail journey. Two hours waiting for trains. Walked out after 70 minutes. Supported Palace for 60 years. At least I missed meeting up with SAFC fans at Kings Cross.
