I am so disappointed with Hennessy as he keeps allowing goals in and causes the team to lose the game. Can't understand why Sam doesn't put Jules in even if only til Mondanda comes back.

Only 7 years ago almost to the day, we saw him let in 3 goals within 6 minutes for Wolves. He has been poor this season, hope Mandanda can play against Stoke, but Jools has got to be the way to go if not. He did ok against Bolton and Man City.
I think it is a no brainer to rest WH.

If and when Mandanda finally limps back I will be starting half a dozen threads a day analysing in the most minute detail every millisecond of every performance between the posts. He won't able to release a garlic-laden fart without my starting a thread on it.

Why yet another thread about Hennessey? He has to be the most abused Palace player ever on here. Even Akinbiyi, Calvin Andrews and Patrick Bamford get a better reception on here. Absolutely shameful.

He's made some great saves this season. Yesterday he was fouled. He shouldn't take the blame for the horrible c*ck ups going on in front of him. Also I would never boo our own players off or sing "You're not fit to wear the shirt". Where does that come from? Remember the 1-4 thrashing by Birmingham in the Championship. Yesterday was like that, a dozy performance after a great midweek result. Sh*t happens and we move on.

Can't say I rate him either....

well.......if he wasnt in goal and we had a solid stable keeper like speroni in goal, we would probably be 8 or 9 points better off

He's made some good saves, but then he is a keeper and that's what he's meant to do.
It's not his fault that he is not quite good enough, but the previous management should have realised that 18 months ago,and at the moment he's the only realistic choice.
Steve hasn't really proved himself so let's hope he does on his return
And poor old Jules has been left on the side lines so long by the time he got up to speed it would be to late,if only they hadn't discarded him in the first place we might not be in this mess.

Do we need to keep singling out Hennessey?

There have been at least 7 or 8 other players week in week out who have contributed to our dire performances. Why blame everything on Hennessey?

right lets get it clear jules when he first played for us he made errors and was dropped, chris day what a keeper save shots all day but give him a cross guess what he was sh*t, defenders didnt trust him which puts more pressure on defence, jules learnt the man in there at the moment is poor very poor defenders dont know were he is i played semi pro in defence and my keepers i played in front of always lets us know who was in goal they had more area presence than hennessey ever had, so stop making him sound the best thing since sliced bread he is poor and should be dropped

Yes players are making errors, but Hennessey is not good enough, end of. Not singling him out, he's giving enough ammunition without me or anyone else pointing it out. First goal all down to him and although the second is well hit, he dives, but doesn't actually cover any ground. He honestly could fall over further than he dives. He doesn't have poor footwork, he has no footwork.
